Matt Leinart & Conor Jackson Celebrity Golf Classic for Augie's Quest
Thursday, April 17th, 2008
Encanterra is extremely proud to have been chosen as the host venue for the 2008 Celebrity Golf Classic hosted by Matt Leinart of the Arizona Cardinals and Conor Jackson of the Arizona Diamondbacks. In its first year in 2007, the event raised more than $100,000 for Augie's Quest, a charitable organization working diligently to find a cure for ALS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease. Thanks to it's support from local leaders and celebrities, this event has quickly become one of the premier golf events in the Valley, and in 2008 we helped Augie's Quest raise even more money.

Junior Golf Association of Arizona Thunderbirds Classic
March 15th & 16th, 2008
There is no more prominent group in the Valley than the Thunderbirds, host of the infamous PGA Tour stop, the FBR Open at the TPC Scottsdale. Well, when they partner with the Junior Golf Association of Arizona, it's a marriage that creates something special for the best junior players in the area. An invitational open only to 32 boys and 32 girls, this is one of the few "majors" on the junior circuit, and Encanterra couldn't be more proud to have been the host venue.
